The Enrolment Process
Enrolling your child is very simple. Paengaroa School does not have an enrolment zone, so any eligible child can enrol at our school. (Eligible children are children whose parents are NZ citizens; children whose parents have residency; children whose parents are resident in NZ and have work permits and the child has a student visa.)

- child’s immunisation certificate or ‘Well Child’ book

Pre-School Visits
Pre school visits are welcome and encouraged. We recommend children have a minimum of two visits before starting school.
Two weeks before starting school
Any day of the week that suits the teacher and parent. 9:00am to 11:00am. Your child can bring their morning tea. Parents are welcome to stay.
One week before starting school
Any day of the week that suits the teacher and parent. 9:00am to 12:30pm. Your child can bring their lunch. Parents are encouraged leave the child at school if they feel comfortable.
Two weeks before starting school
Any day of the week that suits the teacher and parent. 9:00am to 11:00am. Your child can bring their morning tea. Parents are welcome to stay.
One week before starting school
