Paengaroa School is in the enviable position of having two swimming pools nestled within our school grounds.
We have a smaller pool for the juniors to swim in and a larger community pool for the middle and senior students to use.
During the swimming season, we encourage all children to take part in swimming lessons every day. Parents can assist us by making sure that correct swimwear is brought to school each day and that it is named. Please send a note if medical circumstances preclude your child from swimming on any one day.
Keys to both of our pools are available for purchase from the School Office. These keys are available each swim season (one calendar year). The costs are as follows:

- Large community pool key - $115 per swim season (one calendar year) plus one-off $15.00 bond payment which is refundable once key is returned.
- Small pool key - $25 per swim season (one calendar year) plus one-off $5.00 bond payment which is refundable once key is returned.
